As we look to the future, we see Adams 12 rededicating itself to providing the high quality education our children deserve while dealing with reduced funding as a result of this nation’s financial recession.
In these times, the role of the Five Star Education Foundation becomes more important than ever before. At its strategic planning meeting, board members questioned how the foundation could best support students, teachers and the district.

The Five Star Education Foundation was formed in September 1985 by 10 dedicated citizens.
The Very Special Arts program, which began in January 2008, is funded with generous donations from Adolfson & Peterson Construction Company. The program pairs students identified with special learning, physical or mental challenges with local artists. This program makes a big impact on students and contributes to the community by providing artwork for display across the district.
